(From Crowder College)
A check presentation was held today for a large donation to the Freeman Roughrider Fieldhouse Campaign by Dr. Jon and Shelia Reagan.
The 16,000 square foot facility will be located near Sneller Gymnasium next to the Roughrider Baseball Field. The facility will place Crowder on a more competitive playing field in terms of facilities in comparison to the regional and district competition.
Crowder is the only Region 16 school that does not have access to or own an indoor practice facility beyond a gymnasium. The $835,000 of the $1.4 million goal donated/pledged to date has all been contributed by local business/industry, alumni and community members including: Freeman Health System, Phil & Tiffany Slinkard, Branco Enterprises, Scott and Chris Wade, Andy Ashby, Carl & Sara Ledbetter, Vicki & Ross Babbitt, Jon & Shelia Reagan, Cary Marion, Chris Marion, Beimdiek Insurance, First Community Bank, Bob Geary, Kent & Holly Farnsworth and many other patrons.
