Freeman Auxiliary donates $15,000 to assist dialysis patients

Freeman Auxiliary presented $15,000 to Freeman Dialysis Fund to help local dialysis patients with chronic kidney disease.

Chronic kidney disease when kidneys fail, and patients must undergo more than 15 hours of dialysis treatments each week.

Dialysis treatments can interfere with a patient’s ability to work, which can make it difficult to pay for medical expenses, proper nutrition and transportation to treatments.
