Tulsa woman killed on diamond interchange at Range Line

On Saturday, March 11th at 2:00 a.m. officers were called to I-44 and Range Line for a vehicle crash. Officers found a 1999 Honda Accord had impacted a traffic light pole and raised median. The vehicle had been east bound on Interstate 44 and exited toward Range Line. The vehicle left the roadway, crossing the north bound lanes of Range Line and struck a pole in the median of the diverging diamond interchange.

The 1999 Honda Accord was the only vehicle involved in the crash and the only occupant of the vehicle was the driver, Latrisha Bowman (40) of Tulsa, Oklahoma. The injuries to Ms. Bowman were fatal at the scene.


The Joplin Fire Department, and METS Ambulance assisted patrol officers at the scene. The crash is still under investigation by the Joplin Police Department Crash Team.
