Suspect sought in armed robbery of Seneca convenience store

The Seneca Police Department was dispatched to 817 Washington Ave. (Big Daddy's Gas Station) in reference to an armed robbery at approximately 2345 hours on 05/14/18. 

Officers arrived and made contact with the store clerk. The clerk advised the officers that a white male entered the store and attempted to purchase alcohol and cigars. 

When the suspect's credit device was declined he exited the store. A short time later the male suspect reentered the store and presented a knife and demanded money. 

After threatening the clerk the suspect was handed an undisclosed amount of cash. As the suspect exited the store and property the clerk fired numerous shots from a handgun at the suspect. It is undetermined if the suspect was hit by gunfire. 

The suspect was driving what appeared to be a white or silver colored Monte Carlo. The back window of the car should be shattered. If you have any information please call the Seneca Police Department at 417-776-8158
