(From Crowder College)

Crowder College presented more than $25,000 in academic scholarships to 35 high school students planning to attend this fall.

Scholarships are based on academic performance as well as an application process. These scholarships are also available to students from Missouri high schools who have earned the A+ designation.

Academic scholarships may be applied to tuition, books, and fees. They are also renewable up to three consecutive semesters providing financial assistance on a path to earning an associate degree.

The Crowder College Foundation accepts applications for scholarships that are privately funded. These scholarships will be awarded in the fall. Last year the Foundation awarded 301 scholarships in the amount of $291,893. The college also offers departmental and performance/athletic scholarships to students majoring in specific areas or participating in team programs.
