...SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NEWTON AND SOUTHEASTERN JASPER
COUNTIES UNTIL 330 PM CDT...

At 251 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Seneca, or 11 miles southeast of Baxter Springs, moving east at 30
mph.

Dime size hail and wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible with this
storm.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 44 between mile markers 1 and 9, and between mile markers
20 and 31.
 Interstate 49 between mile markers 16 and 35.
