Pittsburg residents injured in crash on I-49

Two Pittsburg, Kansas residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 3:30 p.m. Thursday on I-49, one half mile south of Anderson.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Ford Expendition driven by Arlene M. Wesley, 37, Pittsburg, went out of control on the wet roadway, left the road and overturned.

Wesley was treated for minor injuries and a passenger, Orion Scarborough, 17, Pittsburg, for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
