.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight. Weather hazards expected... Limited tornado risk. Elevated thunderstorm wind damage risk. Elevated flooding risk. Significant lightning risk. DISCUSSION... Scattered thunderstorms will continue today with the heavier rain and stronger storms expected west of highway 65. Most of the storms today should remain below severe limits, although a few strong storms can`t be ruled out. Some training of storms may lead to localized flooding. A line of storms is expected to develop tonight ahead of a strong cold front and push east across the area. Damaging straight line winds will be the main severe weather risk. A spin up tornado within the line of storms can not be ruled out. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Most of the severe storms should end by Wednesday morning with a few storms with lightning remaining possible over the eastern Ozarks.
