A Girard, Kansas teen was injured in a two-vehicle accident 8:30 a.m. today on MO 171, two miles north of Asbury.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am driven by Lauren N. Greek, 18, Cassville, struck a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Michael W. Obanion, 31, Pittsburg, Kansas, in the rear.
A passenger in the Obanion vehicle, Jordan E. Robinson, 18, Girard, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
