A Joplin man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 3:35 a.m. today on South Grand Avenue, a half mile south of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1993 Dodge Dakota driven by Karl R. Shaner, 78, Joplin, struck a 2018 Peterbilt that was parked in the roadway in the rear.
Shaner received minor injuries.
