Three MSSU professors to offer traveling seminar

(From Southern News Service)

“Building a Republic: Interdisciplinary Teaching and Traveling Seminars” will be the topic for the next ITS Friday event, set for 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, in Spiva Library’s Reading Room.

The presentation will be offered by Dr. Megan Bever, Dr. William Delehanty and Dr. Nicole Shoaf from the Social Sciences Department.

In the spring of 2018, the department debuted an innovative traveling seminar that offered students high-impact learning experiences while challenging faculty through collaborative and interdisciplinary work.

The Ideas That Stick presentations encourage the campus to come together for a free exchange of ideas.
