Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team raids net arrests of Joplin, Carthage residents, confiscation of meth, cocaine, oxycodone

This has been a busy week for the Ozarks Drug Enforcement Team serving five warrants since Tuesday the 5th of February. The warrants were not related but some were close in proximity.

One of the warrants was served at 512 N. Mineral in Joplin and a second warrant at 1403 East Hill in Joplin. Joplin SWAT Team was utilized for both warrants along with ODET Team Members.

Brandon Falls 32 years of age was arrested from 512 N. Mineral and Charged with Unlawful Use of a Firearm and Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Thirty-six blue pills were seized which were identified as non-commercially pressed Oxycodone and fentanyl tabs along with 8 Xanax Bars and a loaded syringe. There was also a rifle in the same room with the Drugs.




Dakota Wald was also arrested at this location and charged with Drug Paraphernalia. Charges are pending with the Jasper County Prosecutors Office.

The warrant at 1403 East Hill is still under Investigation no arrests were made at this time.

On 02/06/2019 ODET Detectives and Jasper County SWAT served a Warrant at 1330 W. Budlong lot #9 in Carthage.

The warrant led to the arrest of Juan Carlos Brache-Mercado for Delivery of a Controlled Substance. Suspected Meth and Paraphernalia was seized from the residence. Charges are pending with the Jasper County Prosecutors Office.




On 02/06/2019 ODET Detectives served a Search Warrant at 2025 Porter in Joplin. Dustin Holland 35 years of age was arrested for Delivery of a Controlled Substance. 11.5 grams of suspected meth was seized, 14 LSD Tabs and 2 grams of Cocaine. Charges are pending with the Jasper County Prosecutors Office.

On 02/06/2019 ODET Detectives and Joplin SWAT served a Search warrant at 510 West B Street in Joplin. ODET Detectives seized 11.3 grams of suspected meth from the residence and arrested James Wimberly 35 years of age. Charges are pending at this time and the investigation is ongoing.
