...A FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1000 PM CDT WEDNESDAY FOR
BOURBON...CHEROKEE...CRAWFORD...BARTON...VERNON AND JASPER
COUNTIES...

At 309 PM CDT, the Department of Transportation reported flooding
across the warned area on several roadways near creeks and streams.








This warning includes but is not limited to the following low water
crossings...

Highway K-7 near Fulton along the Little Osage River...
Highway 37 at The Spring River southwest of Avilla...
Highway 7 at Little Cherry Creek north of Columbus...
Route K at Dry Wood Creek east of Arcadia...
and Route JJ at Center Creek southeast of Carl Junction.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

A Flood Warning means that flooding is imminent or occurring. All
interested parties should take necessary precautions immediately.
