Joplin Police seeking information on hit and run driver who struck, injured 18-year-old female on Junge

On Sunday evening, about 11 p.m., an 18-year-old female was walking eastbound along Junge near Roosevelt.

A westbound vehicle struck her and left the scene. She received non life threatening injuries. 

We are asking anyone who may have any information about the suspect vehicle, or was involved and didn't know what they had hit, to contact us at 417-623-3131. 

The only description we have is it was possibly a passenger vehicle, light colored and in some degree of "rough shape." 

Again we hope somebody who has some information about the incident can assist us.
