Two Newtonia residents were injured in a two-vehicle collision 8:05 a.m. today on MO 66, half a mile west of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Dodge Ram driven by John W. Kraft, 24, Joplin, failed to yield to a 2010 Chevrolet HHR driven by George E. Philliber, 72, Newtonia, in the intersection.
Philliber and a passenger in his vehicle, Charlotter Philliber, 76, Newtonia, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
