Anderson teen charged with DWI after plowing into road signs

An Anderson teen was charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle crash 11:40 p.m. Tuesday on Route W, three miles north of Pineville.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1995 Jeep Cherokee driven by Anthony T. Deering, 18, Anderson, ran off the roadway on a curve, struck several signs and overturned.







Anderson was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.

In addition to DWI, Anderson was charged with careless and imprudent driving, no seat belt, minor visibly intoxicated and for not having insurance.
