According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2015 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Andrew E. Hooey, 28, Lawton, Oklahoma, was stopped in traffic when it was struck from behind by a 2006 Ford Fusion driven by Sarai Garcia Quezada, 32, Carthage.
A passenger in the Quezada vehicle, Juana B. Quezada Abarca, 67, Carthage, was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
