On Tuesdays we will take time to introduce our Joplin Police Officers and support staff to our community.
We will start today with Officer Abagail Ibarra.
Officer Ibarra has been with the Joplin Police Department for over three years. When asked what she wanted the community to know about being a police officer she stated, “I am a protector and advocate for children in our community”.
When asked what she enjoys doing away from work she stated she likes going to the lake to relax.
Officer Ibarra is currently assigned to a Uniformed Operations patrol team.
