Lamar man injured as car goss airborne, hits stop sign

A Lamar man was injured in a one-vehicle crash 1:30 p.m. Sunday on U. S. 160, 30 feet from Lamar.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2004 Ford F-150 driven by Wilbur L. Bishop, 64, Lamar, traveled off the roadway across a private driveway, became airborne and struck a stop sign.

Bishop was treated for minor injuries at Cox Barton County Hospital, Lamar.
