Traffic stop of Jasper woman nets two grams of crystal meth

Possession of a controlled substance arrest

On Thursday, November 14th, 2019 at 1315 hours, a Jasper Police Department officer initiated a traffic stop at Thorn Rd. and I-49, on a gray 2010 Chevrolet Impala.

Contact was made with the driver, Cristy Yeoman.

The officer knew of a previous arrest of Yeoman a few weeks ago at a residence in Jasper currently under investigation for illegal drug activity. 








Yeoman was showing signs of nervousness and under the influence of drugs.

A search of the vehicle was conducted. In Yeoman’s purse, the officer located a plastic baggy with about two grams of suspected crystal meth, digital weighing scale and several empty plastic baggies commonly used for packaging narcotics.

Yeoman was arrested and transported to the Jasper County Jail.
