A Joplin man was cited for driving while intoxicated following a one-vehicle accident 8:45 p.m. Monday on MO 171 in Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Ford Mustang driven by Shannon R. Shutters, 33, Joplin, traveled off the road and struck a concrete curbing.
Shutters, who was also cited for failure to drive on the right half of the roadway, failure to title his vehicle and failure to register the vehicle, was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
