A Springfield woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident 5:33 p.m. Wednesday on I-44 four miles east of Mount Vernon.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2023 Subaru Forester driven by Mary L. Gee, 69, Springfield, struck the rear of a 2022 Kia Telluride driven by Melissa P. Brotherton, 49, Neosho.
Gee was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Springfield.
