A 14-year-old Carl Junction girl was injured during an accident 11:31 a.m. today on Highway YY a quarter of a mile northwest of Carl Junction.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Kenworth driven by Stephen J. Gabriel, 52, Anderson, struck the girl as she was attempting to walk across Highway YY.
The girl was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
