Joplin Area Arts and Cultural Preview scheduled

The Joplin arts and cultural community will gather for Connect2Culture’s 9th Annual Joplin Area Arts & Cultural Preview on Saturday, August 10, 2024, 10:00am at the Harry M. Cornell Arts & Entertainment Complex, Beshore Performance Hall (212 W 7th Street, Joplin, MO 64801).

The Joplin Area Arts & Cultural Preview gives local arts and cultural organizations the chance to tell their story, share what they have planned for the year ahead (2024-2025), and explain why you might be interested! Each organization will have up to two minutes to update the community.

This event is part of C2C’s roundtable series and aims to educate the public about upcoming events and encourage collaboration between participating organizations, as well as inform the media about potential opportunities for an interesting story. All are welcome to attend.

“This is one of our favorite annual events,” says Emily Frankoski, Executive Director of Connect2Culture. “In its ninth year, over 20 different local arts, culture, or entertainment organizations are registered to present about their mission and upcoming programming. The coming year is going to be packed with things to do and experience, and we couldn’t be more excited to help facilitate spreading the word by organizing and hosting this event!”

A recording, created by Missouri Southern State University KGCS students, will be made available on Connect2Culture’s YouTube channel after the event.
