Joplin woman cited for DWI following collision on River Road

A Joplin woman was cited for driving while intoxicated following a two-vehicle accident 4:09 p.m. Wednesday on River Road two-tenths of a mile south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2009 Ford Focus driven by Madison L. Shores, 25, Joplin, crossed the road and was struck by a 2014 Kia Sorrento driven by Tina M. Titus, 48, Goodman.








Titus was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Joplin.

Shores, who was also cited for failing to drive on the right half of the road and failing to maintain financial responsibility, was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
