A Carthage woman was injured in a one-vehicle accident 6:55 p.m. Thursday on MO 171 at Twin Bridges, two miles east of Carterville.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Briana F. Bettis, 27, Carthage, driving a 1998 Mercedes Benz C280, lost control on the icy roadway, ran off the left side of the roadway into the grass median, where it struck a guard rail and overturned.
Bettis was treated for minor injuries at Mercy-McCune Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
