(From Joplin Public Library)
The Joplin Public Library is excited to announce a special focus group—one specifically for children to give their input on the design of the new library. The session will take place at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, March 24 in the Library’s large meeting room. Library officials are asking that children attending the session to be between the ages of 5 to 11 years old, familiar with the current Library, and have the ability to clearly express their ideas.
“It is our hope that we will get some really great feedback from this session and that is will aid us in the design process, especially for the new children’s area, said Children’s Librarian Jeana Gockley. “The more feedback we can gather, the more it will help.”
Interested parties should contact Jeana at 417-623-2184 or visit kidsideas.eventzilla.net to reserve their child a spot.
