No one was injured in what appears to be a grease fire at the Sonic Restaurant at 7th and Illinois.
The fire was reported at 6:20 a.m. Employees vacated the restaurant and there were no injuries, Six Joplin Fire Department vehicles responded with 20 firefighters.
The fire has been extinguished, but 7th Street is still blocked from High to Indiana.
