Kindergarten immunizations available at Joplin Health Department

(From the Joplin Health Department)

Now is the perfect time to get vaccinated.

The Joplin City Health Department has vaccinations required for school enrollment. We will have a clinic to make sure your child is prepared. Your child must live within the Joplin city limits, or be enrolled in a Joplin public or private school. We provide immunizations for the uninsured or underinsured, and those with Medicaid.

Vaccinations during the week of March 23-March 27 will be given to qualified residents on a walk-in basis 8:30 am to 11:15 am and 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. You may call anytime to schedule an appointment during our regularly scheduled immunization clinic if another day is more convenient. The regularly scheduled immunization clinics are held on Tuesdays from 9:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. and from 1:45 p.m. to 4 p.m., and on Thursdays from 1:45 p.m. to 4 p.m. Please note: the clinic is not held on the fourth Thursday of the month.

The immunizations will be given in the upper level entrance (West side) of the Joplin Health Department, 321 E. Fourth Street. Please note that a parent/guardian ID and the child’s immunization record is required, so bring them to the clinic!

Please call the Joplin City Health Department to schedule an appointment or for more information at 417-623-6122.
