The Carl Junction Spring Citywide Sale is Saturday, April 25. Deadline to have your sale address listed on the map is April 20, 5 pm. Phone your address to CJ City Hall at 649-7237.
The Carl Junction Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Spring Citywide Sale on Saturday, April 25th. The Chamber prints and distributes 2,000 maps of sale locations. Maps are available beginning Friday, April 24 at 3 pm at Carl Junction City Hall, all Carl Junction Chamber businesses and all Carl Junction convenience stores.
The Carl Junction Bulldog will be chauffeured throughout the day of the sale, making appearances in all Carl Junction neighborhoods, as well as stops at many Carl Junction businesses. The Bulldog will be handing out free maps and two hundred goody bags containing items from Carl Junction Chamber businesses.
Highlights of this year's spring citywide sale is the annual plant sale by the Carl Junction Cultivators Garden Club. The sale is held in Memorial Park, from 7-2 (or when plants sell out). Proceeds benefit the year-around beautification projects by the garden club. A tailgate sale will be held at the Carl Junction High School and is hosted by the Special Olympics group. Participants may show up the day of the sale to take part. The CJHS FCCLA will hold a hot dog sale, also at the CJHS parking lot, to benefit the United Way.
