A four-year-old girl was injured in a two-vehicle accident 11:10 a.m. Tuesday on Chapel Road, one mile west of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Chrysler 200 driven by Jessica S. Baird, 26, Carthage, struck a 1993 Chevrolet U. S. Mail truck driven by Teresa K. Block, 43, Reeds, in the rear.
A passenger in the Baird vehicle, Jade A. Cochran, 4, Carthage, was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
