The Honors Program at Missouri Southern State University will welcome Dr. Robert Thomas to campus at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, in Corley Auditorium for a discussion on the journey to professional school.
Thomas is a board-certified OB/GYN at Integris Grove Hospital in Grove, Okla. He attended osteopathic school at the Oklahoma State University College of Medicine.
He will discuss the ins and outs of acceptance into medical/professional school and the different choices pre-professional students must make. He will also answer any questions pertaining to the medical profession.
The lecture is open to students, faculty and staff, as well as the Joplin community.
