(From the Webb City R-7 Schools Foundation)

The Webb City R-7 Schools Foundation is pleased to announce Nancy Spaeth as their 2016 Distinguished Citizen. Nancy is the true embodiment of a Distinguished Citizen. She has volunteered 25 years with the kindergarten students at the Madge T. James facility.

A banquet will be held in her honor on Thursday, November 3 at 6:30 p.m. at the Continental Banquet Center, Joplin, MO.

Tickets are available at the Webb City R-7 School District’s Administration Building at 411 N. Madison, Webb City.

All proceeds from the banquet are used for scholarships awarded to our graduating seniors. Nancy is the true embodiment of a Distinguished Citizen. She has volunteered 25 years with the kindergarten students at the Madge T. James facility.

Fully understanding the importance of education beginning in the early years of a child’s development, she has worked alongside our teachers’ countless hours to help educate the future citizens of Webb City.

Additionally, she has volunteered many hours with the Webb City CARES organization, supporting all students throughout the district. The purpose of the event is to honor deserving citizens in our community, publicize the Foundation’s efforts to expand in other areas for the betterment of our students, and to raise funds that will support the mission of the Foundation.
