A Carthage man was injured in a two-vehicle accident 4:10 p.m. today on MO 171, one mile west of Carthage.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2006 Nissan Sentra driven by Edith H. Aguilar, 53, Carthage, struck a dead deer in the roadway, then hit a 2012 Ford 350 driven by Ramon M. Rojas, 35, Carthage, which was parked on the shoulder, in the rear.
Aguilar was treated for minor injuries at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
