On December 17th, 2016 at 9:00 AM the Carthage Police Department will be hosting the annual Laverne Williams' Children's Christmas Party. Over 500 children will be invited to attend the party. This party is mostly funded through generous contributions and donations from citizens and businesses in this community.
The Duke Mason Band will be holding a benefit concert on December 10th, 2016 at 7:00 PM. Proceeds from the concert will go to the Christmas Party. Admission to the concert is an unwrapped toy.
Both events will be held at the Carthage Memorial Hall 407 S. Garrison Ave.
