A Joplin pedestrian was injured during a hit-and-run accident 7:10 p.m. today on MO 43, three miles north of Airport drive.
According to the Highway Patrol report, an unknown vehicle hit Thomas E. Coleman, 52, as he was crossing the highway and then left the scene.
Coleman was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
