Connect2Culture (C2C), Joplin's community arts agency, will host its next C2C Arts Roundtable, "Speed Networking with Joplin’s Arts & Cultural Community," on Monday, March 20, 2017 from 6:00–8:00pm at Spiva Center for the Arts (222 West 3rd Street).
“This event was developed directly from past arts roundtable feedback. Many members of our arts and cultural community want to get to know those around them a bit better. The majority of the time in these workshops is spent learning from our guest speakers. Lively (and sometimes lengthy) Q&A leaves little time to network! At this arts roundtable, attendees will do just that. We hope this arts roundtable will further connect members of Joplin’s arts and cultural community.” – Emily Frankoski, C2C Community Arts Director.
C2C Arts Roundtable Description: Are you a member of Joplin’s arts and cultural community? Do you desire to put names to new faces and make meaningful connections? Those that attend will have the chance to meet everyone in the room at this Connect2Culture Arts Roundtable. Come prepared to tell your story and brainstorm potential collaborations! Not sure how to prepare? No worries. We will leave useful tips in the "discussion" section for this event on the Facebook event page.
Details: This event is free and open to Joplin’s arts and cultural community. Light appetizers and beverages will be served. Those planning to attend are asked to RSVP by: 1) marking themselves as "going" on the Facebook event page, 2) giving C2C a ring at 417.625.6683 (please leave a message), or 3) emailing Emily at emily@connect2culture.com. If you reserved a spot and can no longer attend, please let C2C know in advance.
