Athletics
·         Roughrider Soccer team lost in overtime Rose State this past weekend. They will travel to Coffeville on Tues., Aug. 29, 6pm and return home to play Sat., Sept. 2 at 2pm, Tues., Sept. 5 at 4pm and Fri., Sept. 8 at 4pm.  For a complete schedule go to:http://crowderathletics.com/sports/msoc/2017-18/schedule
·         Crowder Baseball 2017 Skills Showcase Camps – October 1 or October 29. Open to players in grades 9-12, 10am starts. Cost is $100 per player per session. ·         Wellness Week, Sept 11-14, will hold a variety of free activities for students and staff with giveaways. Find out more at: crowder.edu/wellness-week

Community Events
·         Auditions for “Dracula” directed by Ben Davies will be held August 28 & 29, 5:30-7pm. Cold read. The production will be October 19-21, 7:30pm nightly. For more information contact our Theatre Department at 417.455.5458.
·         The Roy Blunt Center for Missouri Alternative & Renewable Energy Technology (MARET) naming dedication ceremony will be held Friday, September 1, 10am on the Neosho campus.
·         Joshua Knott Exhibit in Longwell Museum, Aug. 17-Oct 12, 9am-6:30pm, M-F. Artist reception Oct. 6, 5-7pm. Artist statement: Art and life both happen in fragments. For me, the process of making art is the act of reconfiguring those fragments. The exhibit is free and open to the public.

Foundation
