Neosho woman injured in two-vehicle collision on I-49

A Neosho woman was injured in a two-vehicle collision 4:40 a.m. today on I-49 at Neosho.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2000 GMC 1500 driven by Jonathan S. Lopez Recinos, 19, Joplin, struck a 2013 Ford Escape driven by Sharon J. Pierce, 71, Neosho, in the rear. The Pierce vehicle traveled off the left side of the roadway, struck a guard rail and overturned.

Pierce was treated for moderate injuries at Freeman Neosho.
