A Liberal man was injured when a car hit him as he walking on Route K, a half mile east of Liberal.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2010 Nissan Altima driven by Jennifer M. Deines, 37, Nevada, struck Jody D. Auxier, 26, Liberal, who was walking near the center of the roadway.
Auxier was treated for minor injuries at Via Christy Hospital, Pittsburg, Kansas.
