Kansas law prohibiting texting while driving goes into effect today

Numerous laws come into effect today. We will post various changes over the next week.

The texting while driving law has probably been the most publicized law. Boiled down, the law states that a driver may not read, write or send any electronic message while a motor vehicle is in motion.
