Seneca Police Department makes arrests for meth, drug paraphernalia

On 9-5-17 Officer Fort stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation (No headlight). After a short investigation it was determined the driver did not have a valid driver license, no insurance and was in possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 9-1-17 Officer Fort stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. After a short investigation Officer Fort located Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle. The subject was arrested and transported to jail.

On 9-1-17 Officer Pugh stopped a vehicle for speeding. After a short investigation it was determined the driver had a warrant out of Barry County Missouri for speeding. The driver was arrested.

On 9-1-17 Officer Deb Charles received a dispatch of a possible intoxicated driver (called in by citizen). Officer Charles located the vehicle and attempted a car stop. The driver failed to yield for Officer Charles. After entering Oklahoma, while the car was still rolling, both the driver and passenger attempted to flee on foot. The passenger got caught in the seat belt and was dragged down the road for a short distance. He was apprehended at the scene. The driver fled into the woods and threw a handgun while running. The driver is still currently wanted.
