Carthage woman injured crashing into deer

A Carthage woman was injured in a one-vehicle crash 10:30 p.m. Thursday on Chestnut Street, one-tenth of a mile east of Carthage.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2009 Ford Taurus driven by Brianna L. Reffett, 22, Carthage, struck a deer in the roadway.

Reffett was treated for minor injuries at Mercy McCune-Brooks Hospital, Carthage.
