A Kansas woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident 2:49 p.m. Monday on MO 43, three miles north of Joplin.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Mercedes C300 driven by Pamela J. Johnson, 48, Webb City, struck a 2018 Kia Rio driven by Jordan D. Merando, 23, Moran, Kansas, which was slowing for traffic.
Merando was treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
