Anderson man killed in collision on 71

An Anderson man was killed in a two-vehicle collision 1:10 p.m. today on U. S. 71, at MO 90, two miles south of Pineville.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Ford Ranger driven by David B. Munoz, 50, collided with the rear of a 2015 Volvo tractor-trailer driven by Stacey A. Davis, 45, Decatur, Arkansas, which was stopped in traffic.


McDonald County Deputy Coroner Jason Messley pronounced Munoz dead at the scene.

The fatality was the 126th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
