Neosho residents injured in four-vehicle, chain reaction accident on Business 49

Two Neosho residents were injured in a four-vehicle chain reaction accident 5:10 p.m. Tuesday on Business 49, one mile south of Joplin.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2017 Chevrolet Sonic driven by Deborah L. Lewis, 65, Goodman, struck a 2018 Nissan Rogue driven by Terry Kerns, 54, Joplin, which then struck 2010 Toyota Camry driven by Susieanna L. Hampton, 57, Neosho, in the rear, causing it to hit a 2013 Ford Explorer driven by Christoper S. Pooler, 28, Neosho, in the rear.

Pooler and a passenger in his vehicle, Randi J. Davis, 27, Neosho, were treated for minor injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
