Portions of Dade County routes E and H to close for a week

Dade County Routes E & H CLOSED in Areas Dec. 31-Jan. 7 for Drain Pipe Replacement Work

What: Dade County Routes E and H CLOSED in areas for drain pipe replacement work

When/Where:
7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday, Dec. 31 & Jan. 2 – Two locations on Route E between Farm Road 62 and Missouri Route 97 near Niawathe Prairie Conservation Area
7:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Wednesday-Monday, Jan. 2-7 – Four locations on Route H between U.S. Route 160 and Farm Road 84 north of Greenfield
Both roads will be open at night and no work is planned over weekends



Why: MoDOT crews replacing deteriorating drain pipes underneath Route E and Route H to keep water from pooling underneath and next to the roads which could cause deterioration of the road bed

Traffic Impacts:
Route E and H CLOSED only where crews are set up working
Drivers will be able to get to driveways and entrances on either side of the work zone, but will not be able to travel through the work zone
Drivers urged to find alternate routes. No signed detours are planned.
