Five people were injured in a three-vehicle accident 5:10 p.m. Friday on MO 59, three-quarters of a mile south of Fidelity.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder driven by Michelle E. Crawford, 32, O'Fallon, failed to yield to a 2014 Ford Explorer driven by Jackie L. Stone, 40, Willard, which struck the passenger side of the Crawford vehicle.
The Stone vehicle struck a stop sign and then struck a Chevrolet Impala driven by Merle D. Talbott, 64, Diamond.
Stone and a passenger in her vehicle, Hannah L. Stone, 12, Willard, were treated for minor injuries and another passenger, Rachel E. Stone, 15, for moderate injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
Crawford and a passenger in her vehicle, Dereck R. Crawford, 32, O'Fallon, were treated for minor injuries at Mercy Hospital, Joplin.
