Finalists named for Joplin Public Library director, meet-and-greet event planned

The Joplin Public Library Board of Directors is pleased to announce the names of the candidates for their next Library Director.

The candidates are: Kevin Booe, Library Director at Boise Public Library (Boise, ID); Jeana Gockley, Branch Manager at Springfield-Greene County Public Library (Springfield, MO); and Brian Sylvester, Library Director at Rochester Public Library (Rochester, NH).

A meet and greet event will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2019 at 5:30 pm at the Joplin Public Library in Community Room East.

Members of the public are invited to come meet and visit with the candidates before final interviews are held.
