On Monday, September 18 at approximately 5:20 p.m., officers with the Camdenton Police Department responded to a call at Wal-Mart regarding an unresponsive subject found in a vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers found that a Wal-Mart employee had discovered an unresponsive male subject, later identified as 45-year-old Edward Warner of Joplin MO in the rear cargo area of an SUV parked on the parking lot.
Police observed that Warner's body was lying on a mattress with clothing items found around him.
As it was immediately apparent that Warner was deceased, a medical examiner was called to the scene to determine the cause of death.
The body has been turned over to the medical examiner for further investigation and next of kin wer notified.
Investigation is pending.
